Created by a very talented Melbourne based Mum, Louise, The Little Humbugs range of invitations, gift cards and prints featuring whimsical images which encapsulate the innocence and joy of childhood.

The images are inspired by vintage illustration and the adventures of Louise's own children as they search for the magical fairies living under the gum tree in their garden.

Introducing Sambellina...

At Petit Atelier we strive to make the complete birthday party experience simple for busy parents. To help achieve this, we work alongside a small number of handpicked companies representing a range of exceptional party products - everything from gift tags and invitations through to paper plates and cups, which we can easily mix-and-match to suit your child's birthday party theme.

One such company is Sambellina.

Sambellina was created by a Mum of two, Kate, out of her life-long passion for all things paper, doodling & drawing, and beautiful birthday parties. Her boutique style products incorporate classic polka dot and striped designs matched with lovable characters to capture the imagination of little ones and help make it very easy and lots of fun to create a special look for your child's celebration.
The Sambellina range at Petit Atelier includes;

Term One Fun at Petit Atelier

Are you looking for a fun and creative learning experience for your child this term? Term one art classes start next week at Petit Atelier and we have a range of colourful options for children of all ages.


Why not enrol at the "Atelier de France " for 3-5 year olds, where your child can get their craft on whilst also learning French? Starting Thursday, 10th February, from 10.30-11.30am. Cost: $180 per term.


Alternatively, you might like to join our Mummy & Me workshops on Fridays? Commencing 11th February, 10.30 - 11.15, the class is run by our art teacher, Olivia Penna, who as well as holding both a Bachelor of Art - Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Design - Interior Design, also has extensive experience in the Steiner method of early education. The class is craft based and encourages the children (ages 3-5 years) to explore their creative side through play with colour, texture and form, on a level that both children and parents can enjoy. They will use paint, make their own stamps and masks, and many more exciting things! Cost: $180 per term.


For school aged children (5- 12 year olds ), we offer After School Art Classes on Tuesdays, 4.00pm-5.15pm. Art teacher, Olivia Penna, will work with the children as they learn about colour- primary colours and secondary colours, using various paper mediums, clay, beeswax, modeling, drawing with a variety of mediums, different paint mediums, paper mache, as well as some assemblage / 3d construction. Cost: $230 per term

School Holiday Fun at Petit Atelier

Are you looking for a cure to your child's school holiday blues? For an antidote to the cry of, "Mum, I'm bored"? Did you know that Petit Atelier offers a range of school holiday workshops for children aged 5- 14 years each holiday break?

With our range of workshop options including birdhouses through to robots, teapots to board games, as well as open ended art activities such as canvas collage and modelling clay, there is something to suit every child's interest. Workshops run for two hours and all creative materials are included in the workshop fee.

Petit Atelier specializes in celebrations for children from 4-14 years of age, combining art, crafts and fun within a range of themes suitable for both boys and girls.

Personalized parties run for 1.5 hours (1 hour creative activities and 1/2 hour party food and cake time) with a minimum of 10 children, maximum of 20.


Parents have the option of bringing along their own catered food for the party or we can help to organise it all for you. Everything from paper plates, cups, straws, table runners, gift tags, ribbons, serviettes, invitations and candles can be ordered for your convenience. Even the cupcakes!
